Hello, I’m Hayley — Founder of HWL Expert Tuition Network, Expert English Tutor, and Examiner.
With over 26 years of teaching experience and more than a decade examining for major GCSE and IGCSE boards, I specialise in helping students exceed their target grades in English Language and Literature.
As a former Curriculum Leader and Director of English in UK schools, I bring a deep understanding of how to build confidence, close knowledge gaps, and deliver results — whether in a classroom, one-to-one, or online.
Specialist in GCSE & IGCSE English
Examiner for over 10 years – insights into exactly what examiners look for
Experience across AQA, Edexcel, OCR, CIE, Eduqas and more
Proven success with UK and international students, including 16+ entrance to top schools
More than English
As HWL has grown, so has the support I can offer families.
I now lead a small network of trusted, carefully selected tutors offering tuition across English, Maths, Science and other subjects.
I remain at the heart of the business, personally overseeing the network and making sure families receive the professional, individual service HWL is known for.
Whether your child needs regular tuition, targeted exam support or help with one particular area, we'll help you find the right option.
